K9 Bodycare - Canine Therapy Client Testimonials
I have known Jayne Strange for several years, and during that time she has consistently shown herself to be an exceptional canine massage therapist and osteopath. Jayne is incredibly professional, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely one of the most likeable people you could hope to work with.
Our German Shepherd, Bear, now 8.5 years old, has been seeing Jayne since he was little. He began as a very nervous, reactive dog, carrying a huge amount of physical and emotional tension. Through Jayne’s expert hands-on work, his body released that tension, which in turn supported his confidence and overall happiness. Jayne took everything at Bear’s pace, building a beautiful rapport with him. It is truly fascinating to watch how he understands what she does for him and how willingly he offers himself for treatment. After a session with Jayne, my boy moves like a puppy again, is full of beans and noticeably happier.
Jayne has also worked with Winter, a 10-year-old German Shepherd we rescued who arrived in very poor condition. Jayne supported both of us through her recovery, and because of her care, Winter went on to live a comfortable, pain-free, and really happy life.
Although we moved away from the area a few years ago, I now make a 300-mile round trip for our appointments, that is how much I value Jayne’s expertise and care. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dogs. Tara x

I trust Jayne implicitly with my border collie, Flake.
Whether it's treating an injury or just keeping her in tip top shape for our agility Jayne works her magic.
The best thing for me, Flake also trusts her implicitly and for a nervous dog this is a huge deal for me!
To top it all off... Jayne is a lovely human! I wouldn't want to go anywhere else

Jayne has been treating my dogs regularly for some time now. Since April my older boy Bodie had been struggling up steps & limping after light exercise, beginning to be reluctant to go for a walk and generally slowing down - too quickly for my liking.
I contacted Jayne, she saw him promptly and began to work her magic 🪄 🙌 with a combination of massage & osteopathy techniques - we have seen much improvement he’s enjoying his walks again, running & able to jump up on the sofa and do steps again.
Jayne is always calm, confident & reassuring.. my dogs love her .
Zena & the Gang

I can’t speak highly enough of Jayne and the incredible care she gives to my dogs. She is truly professional, knowledgeable & wonderfully caring in everything she does. All of my dogs absolutely adore her, even my most hard-to-please one can’t wait for her turn on the table!
I always know my dogs are in the best of hands with her, and she’s my go-to for any issues or maintenance work they need. Her calm, confident approach puts both dogs and owners at ease and the difference she’s made to their comfort and performance is remarkable.
My dogs have been treated by Jayne for years and as a dog lover and as an Agility Trainer - I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her to my Agility Club members and doggy friends. Hayley x

Jayne has treated all of my agility dogs over the years, both for injury rehabilitation and ongoing maintenance and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. She takes the time to really understand each dog as an individual and her calm, patient approach has been invaluable, especially with two of my more nervous dogs who now absolutely adore their sessions.
Jayne has looked after Fizz throughout her entire agility career, from Grade 1 right through to Grade 7, helping to keep her in top condition every step of the way. Her knowledge, care, and attention to detail give me complete confidence that my dogs are always performing and recovering at their best.

Jayne professionalism, expertise and personality shines through in all that she does with my girls.
She is amazing with my nervous dog, giving her the time to settle and feel comfortable in receiving her massage. Jayne has been absolutely brilliant in supporting me with keeping the girls fit and healthy for their very active lifestyles. (Agility, hoopers, mantrailing, swimming and generally living life to the max!)
She has a great working knowledge of dog activities, which is invaluable in her work. When the need has arisen her attention in treating injuries has been first class. Jayne not only provides immediate support in addressing the injury, but also ensures that you leave her with a program of exercises to support a full recovery as needed.
I cannot recommend Jayne highly enough, and know for sure the difference she makes to my girls, and how much they love their visits to her.

It is not easy to find a therapist that my agility dogs & I can trust 100%, but Jayne fits the bill.
She is relaxed, friendly and inspires confidence, quickly ‘reading’ the specific needs of each dog. One of my dogs, Kirby, is very sensitive about being touched and Jayne, recognising this at once, went at his pace and made him feel comfortable. By contrast, Gibson on first meeting Jayne was immediately relaxed and enjoyed his treatment so much that he fell asleep!
I highly recommend Jayne for her theoretical knowledge and practical skill in dealing with injuries and keeping our dogs in excellent condition. Mirella x

Jayne has been treating Logan and Hebe for many years - right from their Agility days to the present day.
They both have regular maintenance treatment and Jayne is simply fantastic.
She’s incredibly patient, even when the dogs are feeling a bit cheeky, Logan with his kisses and Hebe being Hebe - little sassy pants.
I would recommend her 200% for canine therapy. She has definitely improved my dogs’ performance and everyday life, I’m so grateful they get to see her regularly. They absolutely adore her, and so do I.

One thing about Jayne that sets her apart from other canine practitioners isn’t just her compassion, her connection, her skills or her love for meeting passion with purpose, it’s her undeniable empathy. She feels the whole animal, not just physically or mentally, but spiritually too. She breathes knowledge, kindness, care & understanding. She convinces her clients, even the most skeptical, that her hands can heal and it is a privilege to witness the restful glow of a once pained and troubled soul, melt under her love.
I’ve been unbelievably lucky to have two dogs used for Jayne’s Osteopathy journey. Two very different dogs, with two very different presentations and whilst I have always maintained them through canine massage, I’ve noticed now increased improvements in their management, wellbeing, function and performance.
Her way of holistically treating, spanning her skill-set across 3 complimentary approaches, Jayne strives to relax, repair, realign & rebuild. Not many can say they have all these tools in their box and my dogs are entirely grateful for her thirst for knowledge. I would go as far as saying that without Jayne, one of my dogs would never have achieved all we’ve done together. I am hopeful that as he ages, her new Osteopathic Technique approach will give us more time to achieve even greater things!
Thank you Jayne, keep helping our beloved canines to heal and thrive, because you are a gift R 💕

We’ve been seeing Jayne Strange for canine massage for a number of years now, and I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough. I find it really hard to trust people with my dogs, but Jayne is firmly in my trusted inner circle. She’s always there when we need her, genuinely puts the dogs first, and treats every session with so much care and knowledge.
One thing I really admire is that Jayne is constantly pushing her own development and expanding her knowledge — always learning, always improving, always striving to give the dogs the very best.
She played a huge part in Ace’s rehabilitation after a nasty agility injury, and I’m forever grateful for the time, patience and expertise she gave us. If you want someone who truly understands dogs and goes above and beyond for them, Jayne is the one. Cassie and the family
Thank you Jayne for all that you have done, and continue to do to support Miss Gertie and Me.
Miss Gertie is my 7 year old black lab. She was diagnosed with arthritis in both hips at the age of 4. Before the age of 6, she had also been diagnosed with elbow dysplasia in both elbows. She was clearly in a lot of pain walking and would be incredibly anxious and bark a lot on walks if people approached. A dear friend recommend Jayne to me as someone who would not only be able to support Gertie physically but also emotionally.
Gertie loves coming to see Jayne, she is full body wiggle all the way and somehow magically sinks into rest and relaxation once she is on the ‘treatment bed’. She and Jayne share a special language. Jayne has a highly intuitive connection with her and her skills and expertise give Gertie the tailored treatment she needs on each visit. I feel reassured and confident that Jayne has a true understanding of Gerties physical and emotional well being.
Gertie comes away from her treatments visibly more comfortable and confident. She is so much calmer on walks and happier in herself. Knowing she is getting the best support possible is invaluable to me and I am so grateful to Jayne for the warmth, kindness and care she shows to me and Gertie. Katy & Miss Gertie

Illy, my now 15yr young Border Terrier was diagnosed with arthritis late 2022. The vet suggested painkillers and physiotherapy, but I didn’t like the idea of painkillers and the physio didn’t ’feel’ right either…
Jayne was recommended to me by a good friend and I am very grateful as from the first time I met Jayne and she started working with Illy, all fell into place. It ‘felt’ right from the start and to this day, the holistic approach - massage, hydrotherapy, supplements, gentle walks - has kept the painkillers away.
Jayne has shared some of her tricks and gives us homework - it is fun, but it also allows me to understand how I can help and support my girl at home. Although it’s a fair drive away, I have been taking Illy to see Jayne for her regular massage for nearly 3 years now and Lotte has been joining us for moral support and fusses. Katja
I came across K9 Bodycare through a friend. Busta, my rescue sprocker, had been diagnosed with a bone growth around his 5th vertebra and was on quite a bit of medication,
Jayne has always assessed Busta gently, with care, and earnt his trust. She repeatedly provided guidance and advice about how to make Bustas life easier and with less pain, and varied his appointments depending on his body condition.
My favourite recollection of her treatment, was the day he was suffering, he staggered into her treatment room, laid at her feet as if to say ‘ahh I’m here in the right place, fix me please Jayne’. At the end he was purring… at both ends!
I can’t recommend Jayne’s skills, knowledge and ability to anyone who has a furry friend in need. My experience is that she’s more in tune with my pooch than the 5 minutes a V spends with Busta. She delivers time and time again more than a Canine Therapy. R & B

I was introduced to Jayne nearly 3 years ago & the difference she has made to my little team is amazing.
She has extensive knowledge, experience, a thorough understanding of the physical demands on sporting dogs and a natural gift that can’t be taught which all combine to create her special “magic touch”.
From treating injuries and rehab to routine care which picks up and treats small niggles before they become a problem, she ensures that my girls are in optimum shape to live their best spaniel life as well as meeting the physical demands of competitive agility. She is kind, patient and always on hand to answer any questions I have (however dumb they may be!) and my girls can’t wait to get on her treatment couch!
I am so incredibly grateful to have Jayne regularly treating my girls and can’t thank her enough for the care she gives them. All dogs should have a Jayne in their life!

I have been bringing my 3 Tibetan terriers to Jayne for the last 5 years. Jayne is professional, knowledgeable and holistic, in her approach to the appointments.
She listens to my concerns about my dogs and any recent injuries/illnesses they may have had. She is able to treat them with care and compassion. Most importantly my dogs love Jayne. They rush to see her when we arrive and they clearly relax and enjoy the treatment they receive.
I would recommend Jayne without any hesitation if you have a dog which needs this area of treatment.

Thank you to every dog & human who has trusted me to be part of their journey. Your stories, your courage and your joy are the heart of everything I do and the reason my work matters.
And, to the boy who inspired it all and set me on this path, my greatest teacher, there will never be enough love and gratitude for all you gave me xxx
