Care for your Dog BEFORE Treatment

Ensure your dog has toileted before they arrive for their appointment.

If you are unable to attend your appointment, I would appreciate as much notice as possible. Please refer to my Terms & Conditions for full information.

Dogs MUST arrive in a clean condition.

At each session, you will be asked for an update on any changes and if for some reason it is not advisable to proceed with therapy, I reserve the right to postpone the session.

Do not feed your pet for a minimum of 3 hours before their Therapy session.

Parasite control / Vaccination- Please note that I am unable to treat your dog until 7 to 10 days after administration.

Do let me know, if your dog has any areas where they don’t like to be touched or have any strange habits/behaviours.

Always keep me updated if there are / have been any changes with your dog since their last visit.
Care for your Dog DURING Treatment

Do always ask me if you aren’t sure as to what I am doing.

Don’t forget this can be very strange for your dog and they may take time to settle, this is totally normal.

Your dog may sit, stand, lay, be on the floor or on the massage couch. It is about what is most comfortable for your dog.

Don’t make too many movements or play with their lead / give treats.

Praising your dog is beautiful, but when they are settled this can disturb them.

At times I may ask for assistance with your dog - if I feel it would benefit them.
Care for your Dog AFTER Treatment

After massage, please ensure your dog is kept warm to get as much benefit as possible from the therapy session.

You will be given an Aftercare leaflet, providing information about “Healing” after treatment and specific information relevant to your dog.

Do not feed your Dog for 2-3 hours after therapy.
