Client Information

Care for your Dog BEFORE Treatment

​

  • Ensure your dog has toileted before they arrive for their appointment.

  • If you are unable to attend your appointment, I would appreciate as much notice as possible.  Please refer to my Terms & Conditions for full information.

  • Dogs MUST arrive in a clean condition.

  • At each session, you will be asked for an update on any changes and if for some reason it is not advisable to proceed with therapy, I reserve the right to postpone the session.

  • Do not feed your pet for a minimum of 3 hours before their Therapy session.

  • Parasite control / Vaccination- Please note that I am unable to treat your dog until 7 to 10 days after administration.

  • Do let me know, if your dog has any areas where they don’t like to be touched or have any strange habits/behaviours.

  • Always keep me updated if there are / have been any changes with your dog since their last visit.

 

Care for your Dog DURING Treatment

  • Do always ask me if you aren’t sure as to what I am doing.

  • Don’t forget this can be very strange for your dog and they may take time to settle, this is totally normal.

  • Your dog may sit, stand, lay, be on the floor or on the massage couch.  It is about what is most comfortable for your dog.

  • Don’t make too many movements or play with their lead / give treats.

  • Praising your dog is beautiful, but when they are settled this can disturb them.

  • At times I may ask for assistance with your dog - if I feel it would benefit them. 

 

Care for your Dog AFTER Treatment

  • After massage, please ensure your dog is kept warm to get as much benefit as possible from the therapy session.

  • You will be given an Aftercare leaflet, providing  information about “Healing” after treatment and specific information relevant to your dog.

  •  Do not feed your Dog for 2-3 hours after therapy.
