I hereby apply to participate in the Canine Conditioning Puppy Workshop
If you are bringing a dog to participate on this course you will be exercising your dog in a new way, these exercises can be very tiring, and your dog will only be working for short periods at one time. It is your responsibility to ensure your dog is in good condition, and not lame without diagnosis prior to the course. The instructor will be keeping a close eye on your dog; however, it is entirely your responsibility to ensure your dog’s welfare needs are being met at all times. Please discuss your dog’s needs with the instructor before attending.
We will be working the dogs in an enclosed space with other dogs; your dog must be familiar with this scenario. Please note this is not a behaviour training class, stressed, disruptive or aggressive dogs will not be able to attend. The handler of the dog must always have full control of their dog and there will be no liability taken by the course providers for any injury or damage that may occur to any persons, animals, or property. It is not a course requirement for you to bring a dog but please let us know on the booking form if are doing so as sociable dogs are welcome.
I agree that I fully understand that there are inherent risks and dangers in the participation in the above activity. My participation in the Canine Conditioning activities and use of any equipment related to such activities may result in injury to persons/ dogs and/ or damage to personal property. I understand other participants, accidents, forces of nature, the nature of the dog or other causes may result in risks and dangers both obvious and non-obvious to myself and/or my property, and I hereby accept these risks and dangers. I agree to follow all generally accepted safety rules and to be considerate of all other animals and people participating also the property at which the course is being held.
I have read the above and by signing this form I agree that it is my decision to participate in the indicated activity. I herewith release from liability and waive any right of recovery for any injury to myself or my dogs or damage to my property the following named individuals and organizations unless said injury or damage is the result of the gross and willful negligence of said individual or organization.

This agreement is made freely between the student and K9 Bodycare. I (the student) understand that in undertaking the Puppy workshop I am not qualified nor authorised to, in any way use the information I may gain for financial benefit or to share with others. This includes programmes, assessments, exercises, techniques, and the experiences I may gain from the course. I fully appreciate that should I, in any way seek to utilise any information without the express and written permission of CCA that I will be in breach of this agreement.
Terms & conditions of participation
Students must be aged 18 or over.
You acknowledge that you have dog handling experience.
Only well behaved and sociable dogs are allowed to attend the course. However, if you do not have a suitable dog then we can pair you up with someone who has.
You are prohibited from copying the Course Materials for distribution, sale, publication or use by any third party including the internet or for any reason not expressly permitted. Check with CCA to request permission to use any materials. This term and condition shall survive the termination or expiry of this contract.
You are prohibited from making any use of any Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) for any reason, both during the Contract and following termination of the Contract. This Clause shall survive the termination or expiry of this contract.
You are prohibited from teaching or sharing this modality. You understand that the materials and the programmes are for your use, for your dog or dogs, only.
Payment Terms
To secure your place on the course please send your signed Booking Forms to Jayne Strange and make a payment in full either by cheque or BACS transfer, £85 per person.

Please reference your payment with your name and the course date, which will immediately reserve your place on the course, thank you.
A minimum number of students are required for a course to run. In the event that the minimum number is not reached, and a course must be cancelled, students will be given the option of either transferring to any other suitable UK course or a full refund of the funds paid. It is therefore advised that if you are booking flights or any accommodation to ensure you have travel insurance and be able to cancel your accommodation.
Workshops and Courses
Your rights are protected under the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 and Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 & Consumer Rights Act 2015
We abide by the applicable elements of Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Accordingly, should you wish to cancel your booking in the next 14 days, no charge will be applied. (You are unable to be refunded after attending the workshop.)
Payment terms
Our standard payment terms are that payment in full is taken at booking.
Transfers
Should circumstances mean that you need to transfer to another puppy workshop/Course, the following charges will apply, dependent on notice given:
First transfer made more than six weeks prior to the course start date – no charge.
Further Transfers will attract a re-booking fee of £25 where requested more than six weeks prior to the workshop.
Two to six weeks’ notice given – 25% of the course fee.
Less than two weeks’ notice given – 50% of the course fee.
All transfers must be taken within a period of twelve months from the original course date.
Cancellations
Should circumstances mean that you have to cancel your workshop and are unable to transfer your booking to another date at the time of cancellation, the following charges will apply:
More than six weeks prior to the workshop date – no charge
Two to six weeks prior to the course – 50% of the course fee
Less than two weeks prior to the course – full fee.
NB Cancellation must be made in writing/email and received by me Jayne Strange of K9 Bodycare by the due date.
Non-attendance
If you do not attend a course/workshop, and you have not previously informed us, the full course fee remains payable.
Unforeseen circumstances
On occasion, unforeseen circumstances may require us to cancel a workshop. In such circumstances you will be given as much notice as possible and either a free transfer to another course date or a full refund of fees paid.
Scope of Workshop
Completion of the one-day workshops does not qualify you to teach other people Puppy Conditioning. If you wish to become a CCA Coach accredited by Lantra please talk to me about this.
Guidelines for attendees
It is your responsibility to ensure that you and your dog, are free from any condition which would affect your participation in the workshop or other participants and their dogs.
You may be required to work on the floor, if this is a problem, we need to know so that we can make sure we can offer appropriate assistance.
There is limited room at the workshops and therefore we cannot accommodate additional spectators. There are however a number of local attractions they may like to explore should you need someone to bring you to the workshop.
Food is not available at the workshop other than tea/coffee and biscuits. You are therefore advised to bring your own if you need to.
Safety:
I reserve the right to ask you to leave, if your dog becomes unmanageable, disruptive, or aggressive to dogs or people. The same applies to their human
The customer is responsible for their dog for the day and understands that the dog is not allowed to wander around the hall and must be kept on a lead/harness. We want everyone to enjoy the course and cannot allow behaviour which restrict others enjoyment and ability to learn on the day.
The customer will provide any information that may be pertinent about the dog e.g.: Behavioural Characteristics, any issues with other dogs, being handled, touched etc... Provided that you are responsible for, and the dog is not a problem to those around you, we will work with you to provide you with a suitable environment in which to enjoy the course.
The customer undertakes the course at their own risk.
Your dog is vulnerable and AT RISK if left in a vehicle in high temperatures and even on days considered as slightly warm. Please take care of your dog. If your dog is found to be at risk forcible entry to your vehicle may be necessary without liability for any damage caused.
What do you do with my information?
We will only contact you with details of special offers etc. if you have requested such information during the checkout process or on signing up for newsletters and updates. If you wish to be removed from a list to which you have subscribed, then you can do so by sending us an email using the details on the contact us page providing your name and email address and indicating that you wish to cease receiving such e-mail.
